    FAQ's: LEVEL FLOW

    What is Level Flow?

Level Flow is a cement-based, high flowing, easy-to-use underlayment for use in leveling interior substrates.

    Can you do small areas?

Yes, we are able to self level individual rooms and smaller spaces simply by barrel mixing Level Flow.

Can Level Flow be used "below-grade"?

Yes however, moisture testing of the existing slab should be conducted prior to pumping Level Flow.

Can Level Flow be applied to a slab with moisture issues?

Absolutely.  Concrete floors that fail moisture testing may still be poured after a moisture barrier has been applied to the existing slab.  Please contact us for recommendations and pricing.

How thick can Level Flow be applied?

Level Flow is applied from 1/8" to 2" however, with aggregate we are able to pump thicker depending on specific job site conditions.

Can Level Flow be used as the finished floor?

Level Flow unprotected is meant to be covered with a finished flooring however, there are options to seal, coat, or polish Level Flow in order to use it as a finished floor.

Where can Level Flow be used?

In any facility requiring a flat and smooth floor including:

    • Corporate
    • Manufacturing & warehouses
    • Laboratories
    • Retail (malls & shops)
    • Health care, hospitals
    • Education (schools & universities)
    • Hospitality
    • Residential

How much experience does your company have?

In 1990 we purchased our very first self-level (SL) barrel mixing kit and never looked back.  Since that day, we've continued to grow, investing in both infrastucture and the latest polymer modified engineered products as the industry has evolved and SL products continue to rapidly become the preferred method of sub-floor prep.

When should Level Flow be applied?

Owners and Contractors will ALWAYS recognize the greatest benefits when Level Flow is pumped during DIVISION 3: CONCRETE construction, before any other trades begin mobilizing and working on the project, as this will provide the safest and greatest benefits to all trades and reduce overall construction costs vs. DIVISION 9 floor prep.

While Level Flow may be applied at any time throughout the construction process, the general rule of thumb is always "THE SOONER - THE BETTER."

How long will my project take?

Project duration is based upon variable project specific factors.  A typical 5,000 - 20,000 sq. ft. project, with a subfloor free of all trades and broom swept ready, may be completed in just 2 days with the first day allocated to mobilization, delivery of materaials, prep, and priming and the second day for pumping operations.

How long does Level Flow take to dry?

Level Flow produces a flat, smooth and hard surface that can be walked on in as few as 3 hours.  Level Flow will be ready for trade work the next day and flooring installations after 48 hours.

How much does Level Flow cost?

Every project has its own unique challenges that must be considered before we can provide you with an accurate estimate.  Simply ask us and we will be glad to provide you with a quote specific to your project
